Anna Middlebrook is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University with a bachelor of arts in English and Communications, and more recently, she continued her education with a mini-masters in Public Administration from Rutgers University. To establish a career in editing, she worked for Student Publications where she learned the basics in journalism, advertising, and layout. Next she worked for the marketing communications department of Wheaton College in Illinois. As marketing assistant, she wrote for and edited the publications at the college while also performing the duties of office manager. Upon returning to Texas, Anna joined the development market and has worked in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors enhancing organizational growth. In all these roles, writing, editing, and communication were daily aspects of her duties. As a freelance editor, Anna has worked with individuals, businesses, publication houses, and in academic settings. Anna and her luthier husband are blessed with three daughters, and she enjoys historical preservation, advocating for public education, and collecting children’s books.
